Not Afraid

I wanted to share with you this quick sketch which was done in a recent, electonica-induced, mind vacation. I am often most at ease (allowing my mind and creativity to wander) whilst on train journeys. This drawing appeared as I listened to Not Afraid -  a stunning track taken from 'Outer Circular'  by Liam Stewart and Lyndon Scarfe. I hope that this association won't tarnish their reputations too much.

A Day Of

Fossils

Time sits and looks at me like treacle.
Like a thick fog.
I can barely breathe for it.

I can't help but think
that i would love
to watch us back.

I feel the weight of it
surrounding me
like wet plaster
and I am encased within.

I am fossilised.
